The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

Had a great experience at the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. The location is perfect and the rooms were clean and comfortable. What really stood out was the service. Pedro, who was serving drinks near the elevator, was excellent—super friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. He kept the drinks coming and had great energy. Definitely one of the highlights of the stay. Would absolutely come back.

We had the most wonderful stay here. We arrived for our one night stay just before midnight after a stressful trip, completely exhausted and were greeted by the kindest smiles. David and Melva were both so warm and welcoming, it truly felt like we were with family. Immediately we felt at ease and stress free . We were so happy to check in with these two and David went above and beyond for us. We saw him the next day and he had the same, genuine smile and was so caring. Perfect location and beautiful resort. Can’t wait to come back and stay longer.

I checked in today. David at the front desk was super friendly and efficient, and so was everyone I encountered from the hotel staff. The room is very clean and well-maintained, and the ocean view is phenomenal. The restaurant Lona serves delicious food and Gloria makes some amazing margaritas at the bar. The location- you are right on the beach, close to everything. Overall, great representation of the Westin/Marriott brand. It is a top hotel to stay at while in Fort Lauderdale.

My hunny and I stayed here in late August, 2025 and we still think about our amazing stay so this review is long overdue! The building was beautiful and so was our room. Our room was tidy and clean and had the view promised. The amenities such as the pool, private beach area, coffee shop, and restaurant were wonderful. We also enjoyed how pleasant the staff were. A young lady working the front desk, Jasmine, was especially kind and helpful. She sweetly took Polaroid photos of us that we’ll cherish forever. This Westin is great and we’d love to stay again!

Pedro runs the pool area and he is absolutely the best! He is quick to help with the umbrella set ups and take downs and is so friendly. We are so glad he made our pool experience a five star!!! Daniel was an excellent server in Tinto! We have always sworn we would NEVER eat Mexican food in the US outside of Texas, but the guacamole & bacon was delicious! And the fajitas were very good, too! This was a great stay, but they need more plugs in the room and hot water before 7 am

We had such a wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff (Melva and David specifically) went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure we were comfortable. They were incredibly kind, responsive, and genuinely helpful with everything we needed. We were in a bit of a stressful situation before arriving, and they made the entire process smooth and reassuring. The level of hospitality and care we received truly stood out. It made such a difference for our stay. The property itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but what really sets this place apart is the people. Their willingness to help and accommodate us meant so much. We’re very grateful for Melva and David’s help and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel. Very lovely. My favorite person was Jocelyn he was very nice and handled our luggage. He smiled and was very informative for info we might need. He would hold the door when we left or came in. There was a small line maybe 3 people ahead of us at the counter and he asked could he help us with anything and we were just trying to get cups for more margaritas the hotel gives you complimentary and he went and got us some and helped us with no problem. The hotel is big and sits right on the beach. The rooms looked very vintage with shutter door to the bathroom and bathroom window. Overall lovely

Rooms are small and have a very weird wooden shutter window on the bathroom wall that opens to the bed area. Beach is very nice but windy. Because of that we spent most of our time at the pool. The pool is very nice. Employee Pedro at the pool was awesome. Gave great suggestions where to sit and helps with chairs and umbrellas. They need more Pedro’s!!!
